It was my first time ever on a dating site Match.com to be precise. I was browsing through the choices of men with my BFF and I saw HIM... WOW... When I saw HIM I KNEW it was "THE GUY".... I loved the way he looked, I loved all his pictures and I loved his bio... I was extremely attracted from the get go... I was also extremely shy I mean I was 35 and married and divorced a couple times and a single mother of 2 working and raising my kids. My BFF said I will email him for you I was like "YEAH" that will work she was so witty and smart I knew we could reel him in the two of us.. Men, this is how ladies think we think way ahead of the game and I could (as crazy as it sounds) see myself with this guy for the rest of my life... They say you meet that one person in your life that you are just totally attracted to and I think (well I didn't think that's the problem as you will see as we dive further into "Ronnyville") that this was the guy for me after all we look so great together in my mind...
So, my BFF did exactly what I wanted her to she helped me reel him in...
He suggested I drive to the hotel by his house which was about 18 miles from me and meet him there for a drink. So, I did... Ladies... this is way too far to drive for a first meeting he should drive to you!
When I got there he was waiting out front for me and my first impression was WOW he is HOT except for he had his pants pulled up way too far... Obviously he needed a woman's touch in the clothes department but he was wearing slacks and a blazer so I thought he made a good effort.
We went into the bar and ordered drinks which he paid for as he should have. He proceeded to tell me about himself he was a former NFL player and now writes books on Football, coaches Football at the local JC and is a teacher at a private high school, He has 2 Masters Degrees and a Bachelor's degree. Pretty impressive for a woman with no degree. He has no kids and is divorced.
We stayed about 2 hours and talked then we decided to call it a night. He walked me to my car and I gave him a hug. He didn't try to kiss or hug me but I just had to get my hands on this guy so I did. I left not knowing if he liked me or not. Ladies, the goal is to see if he is suitable for you not if HE likes you and if you are suitable for him. Ladies, I totally had it backwards. I sure have learned a lot since then.
Anyway, after I got home he called me to make sure I got home ok and asked me for a second date. I accepted and we planned our second date. I was so excited he liked me enough to ask for a second date!
